This event is going to be FREE once again to the public. The biggest way we raise the money needed to support this event is through a raffle of unique items that are donated by supporters of the event. We thank each donor for their contribution and making this event possible!
Raffle Tickets will be sold at the Welcome Desk during the Hawken Classic. The winning tickets will be selected on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 5pm. You do not need to be present to win. (1 for $3; 4 for $10; 9 for $20; 25 for $50; 55 for $100)
Tickets can be purchased in advance by sending your check to Hawken Classic, 377 Lake Labadie Dr, Labadie, MO 63055. Checks must arrive before May 10, 2025 to be entered into the drawing on May 17th.

We are listing the items for this year’s raffle here as they arrive.
Item 1-8: Greg Grimes has donated these David Wright prints from his own collection to the raffle. David Wright will be at the Hawken Classic to sign the winners print if you would like.
Item #9 and #10: Greg Roberts and The Hawken Shop has donated their deluxe hawk and this year will add their throwing knife (each has $94.95 value)
The knife comes with a leather sheath and the “Stick With the Winners” booklet by Art Ressel.
Item #11: Hawken Horse Music and Accessories
The Gemmer Club has donated the latest Hammered and Hewn CD by Hawken Horse. Andrew Scott Wills has also donated a hoodie and ball cap that will go to the winner of this item.
Item 12: Buckskin Billy Shooting Pouch
Ron Butler (Buckskin Billy) will be donating a pouch similar to the one shown below. It is hand made from bark tan deer skin that he tanned himself. It will be lined with period material and will include a hand forged buckle on the strap. Thank you Ron for your donation!
Buckskin Billy will be attending the Hawken Classic and will have similar pouches for sale at his camp. He will also be demonstrating the brain tan process of deer skins at his camp. Be sure to stop by and visit him.
Item 13-16: Brad Dickinson Shooting Pouches and Powder Horns
Brad Dickinson, local Gemmer Club member, has donated two hand sewn shooting pouches made with veg tanned leather and the accoutrements shown. Also donated are two powder horns with hand sewn leather straps. Pouches are lined and have rolled edges as shown. Lots of time goes into making these pieces. Thank you Brad for your donations again this year!
Item #17-19: Mountain Man Figurines
Bob Schuette has donated these to help the Hawken Classic. The three little platform figurines are pewter and porcelain. All are new condition including the paper work that came with them. Each will be raffled as separate items. Thank you Bob for supporting the Hawken Classic Raffle!
