What a beautiful Fall weekend for our event! Mike Briscoe setup our range and woods with 21 shooting target stations with distances ranging from 15-50 yards. These are mostly steel targets but they are Rendezvous style targets that include clay birds, splitting a round ball on an axe blade, shooting from a saddle, shooting through a window, and many more. Mike has done a wonderful job putting together great targets and setting up a very fun event. You do not need to be a Gemmer club member to participate, but just an invitation from a Gemmer club member. Camping is optional. Primitive and modern campers allowed. Congratulations to Darren Heaton for winning the match with 24 points, only missing 2 targets. Great shooting!
Rules:
Rifles or smoothbores, with percussion or flintlocks, are allowed. You will need to shoot a maximum of 25 round balls to complete this match. Loading from a pouch is required because you will be walking from station to station with no loading benches.
Cost:
$25 blanket prize is the cost to participate.
