Hawken Classic – December 2023 Newsletter

Hawken Classic Newsletter Subscribers,

Spring will be here before we know it, and the Hawken Classic 2024 will be happening soon. May 17-19, 2024

We are very excited about the NEW venue this year at the Lewis and Clark Boat House and Museum in St. Charles right on the Missouri River front. You will be able to see for yourself right where the keelboat’s went up and down the river during the fur trade period.

The history of Lewis and Clark, the mountain men, the fur trade, the westward movement when America was young, and the roll the Hawken rifle played will all be discussed during this event.

In August of 2023 the Hawken rifle was named the Official State Rifle of Missouri. You are invited to come back and help us celebrate this incredible part of history. I assure you there will be many NEW aspects to the Hawken Classic 2024 that will make it worth the trip.

Please check out our website to see the latest and learn more about the event.

The event is continuously being planned and adjusted, so the seminar schedule is not firm yet, but I have attached the latest version and it should be pretty close to the final copy. In addition to the seminar schedule there will be special presentation’s inside the museum on Lewis and Clark that you will not want to miss.

The incredible displays of Missouri rifles will also be back and inside the museum. This will truly be a once in a lifetime opportunity to see over 70 original and contemporary rifles all in one location.

We look forward to seeing everyone next May. Please share and invite your friends and families to attend. The museum has lots of fun activities for the kids to enjoy. Downtown St. Charles is full of good places to eat, shop, and sightseeing.

Merry Christmas!

Sincerely,

Bob Vogt
